Pet Portraits

Here's how the commissioning process works;

  • Send me your best photos of your pet. It’s important to send good photos as it will help me make the best painting for you. (Please see below for tips on getting the best images of your pet) You can send as many as you like and i can help you choose the one that will make the best painitng. If you would like more than 1 pet in a painting, you can take them seperately and I will paint them in one painting. I know it can be hard to get them all to sit still together!

  • We can discuss your requirements by phone or email and I will let you know the time it will take for your painting to be completed. It would usually be finished within 2 weeks but if you need something in a hurry just let me know and I will try to accommodate this.

  • When your painting is complete I will email you a photo and you can tell me any minor changes that you would like.

  • Once you are happy with the painting, you can make the payment by cheque, bank transfer or Paypal and I will package and send your painting through Royal Mail recorded delivery so you will get it safely within 2-3 days. If you are local you are welcome to collect it!

Tips for taking photos for your painting

  • The higher the resolution of the photo, the better it will be for me to work with.
  • Try taking photos at your pets level, not looking down or up with the camera.
  • Take photos outside or in a well lit room without flash as natural light will produce better results.
  • Photos should be well focused, headshots with your pet taking up as much of the photo as possible.
