Pet Portraits

As an animal lover pet portraits are one of my favourite things to paint. I love recieving photos of your furry friends and can't wait to see what pet im going to paint next. I believe my love for animals and enthuasiam when painting them is reflected in my work. I am confident you will love your painting. You can see some of the commissions Ive done in the past below.

If you would like a painting of your pet please see below for details on how to commission a painting. I will happily paint any animal, from a fish to an elephant! Just contact me to discuss your requirements. Prices start at £45 for a small painting but whatever your budget just let me know and i'll try to accommodate it.

How to comission a pet portrait

Here's how the commissioning process works;

  • Send me your best photos of your pet. It’s important to send good photos as it will help me make the best painting for you. (Please see below for tips on getting the best images of your pet) You can send as many as you like and i can help you choose the one that will make the best painitng. If you would like more than 1 pet in a painting, you can take them seperately and I will paint them in one painting. I know it can be hard to get them all to sit still together!

  • We can discuss your requirements by phone or email and I will let you know the time it will take for your painting to be completed. It would usually be finished within 2 weeks but if you need something in a hurry just let me know and I will try to accommodate this.

  • When your painting is complete I will email you a photo and you can tell me any minor changes that you would like.

  • Once you are happy with the painting, you can make the payment by bank transfer or Paypal and I will package and send your painting through Royal Mail recorded delivery so you will get it safely within 2-3 days. If you are local you are welcome to collect it!

Tips for taking photos for your painting

  • The higher the resolution of the photo, the better it will be for me to work with.
  • Try taking photos at your pets level, not looking down or up with the camera.
  • Take photos outside or in a well lit room without flash as natural light will produce better results.
  • Photos should be well focused, headshots with your pet taking up as much of the photo as possible
